San Diego Restaurant Week 2012

January 15-20, 2012 is San Diego Restaurant Week. It's a great opportunity to support local restaurants and have an exquisite meal at the same time. During this twice-annual event, 180 of San Diego's best restaurants offer prix fixe menus, many of them for lunch as well as dinner. A two-course, prix fixe lunch at participating restaurants is either $10, $15 or $20, while a three-course dinner costs either $20, $30 or $40. You don't need to sign up, buy tickets or seek out coupons for Restaurant Week. Just plan to eat out at one of the participating restaurants between January 15 and January 20. Reservations are recommended.

Three of Rancho Santa Fe's own fine restaurants are participating in Restaurant Week. Cavaillon, Mille Fleurs and the Pantry of Rancho Santa Fe are all offering a prix fixe dinner. Mille Fleurs is also offering a lunch menu. Outside Rancho Santa Fe, one of the highlights on the list of restaurants participating this year is Truluck's, named Best of the Best of San Diego's restaurants by San Diego Magazine in 2011. The runner up, Cucina Urbana, is also on the list. Many of the other restaurants that won awards from San Diego Magazine in 2011 are also participating.
