Come out for the sixth annual San Diego International Beer Festival at the San Diego Fairgrounds in Del Mar June 22-24. The festival has grown to become one of the largest beer festivals in the country. This year, attendees can sample beers from 15 countries and 15 states.
In addition to the main sampling floor, where representatives will be on hand to share information about their brews, participants can also take part in a VIP experience. In this exclusive area, guests can relax in a special lounge, take part in a private tasting of five carefully selected craft beers along with food pairings, and will receive a limited edition commemorative glass to use on the sampling floor. VIP guests are entitled to early admission to the festival, as well.
Over 140 breweries will be represented at this popular event, including several local offerings. San Diego area breweries include Pizza Port Ob, Mission Brewery, and Karl Strauss Brewing Company, among several others.
International offerings will span the globe, including Germany’s Bitburger Braugruppe and Belgium’s Affligem Brewery.
Tickets are available for 4-hour sessions and can be bought at the fairgrounds box office, or through Ticketmaster.
