Rancho Santa Fe Residents Raise Funds For Pets

Rancho Santa Fe’s Helen Woodward Animal Center Annual Puppy Love 5K Run Walk is coming up on Sunday, February 13th! Rancho Santa Fe residents can meet at the corner of Via De LaValle and Highway 101 in Solana Beach at 7 a.m. to run or walk and spend some time at the Wagging Wellness Festival.

Your dog can enter the “Furry Valentine Costume Contest.” Dogs may be dressed as cupids, hearts, love bugs, or whatever else you may dream up. The judges will consider all costumes as they determine the best “Love Dog.” You can also get free samples and food for you and your dog and even allow your dog to try “Doga Yoga” and “Dog Agility” with you as a tag-along partner.

This entertaining community event is a highlight for Rancho Santa Fe homeowners. Runners and walkers can register by clicking here. Fees to participate as adult Puppy Love Runners are $35.00 and children are $15 (under 12). The Doga Yoga class is $10, as is the Furry Valentine Costume Contest. For $55 you gain admittance to all events and $40 will allow you to enjoy the run and Doga Yoga. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Helen Woodward Animal Center.
