The Rancho Santa Fe Garden Club, founded originally in 1926, is planning an active fall season. The season began with a Harvest Dinner on September 18 and continued with a Petals and Prose night on September 28. Members were asked to compose a floral arrangement based on literature.
Other upcoming events and ideas involve jazz, crafts, A Morning in the Garden, Dining by Design, and bridge games. A Garden Club Work Party to beautify the club garden will be held on October 2. A Gourd Jack O’ Lanterns class will be offered on October 13 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, allowing members ($35) and non-members ($45) the chance to make a jack o’lantern that will last for years to come. All supplies will be provided and are included in the fee.
