The sixth annual “Flicks on the Bricks” event is set to begin on August 2. The Athenaeum Music and Arts Library will present the first of four classic films with specially selected wine pairings at the Athenaeum Outdoor Patio.
Tickets are available for single showings or for the entire series. The lineup features four films, one for each week in August: August 2: Some Like It Hot (wine selections will be champagne and California bubblies) August 9: Under the Tuscan Sun (wine selections from Italy) August 16: Murder on the Orient Express (wine selections from Spain) August 23: Sabrina (wine selections from France) The Athenaeum Music and Arts Library in La Jolla is one of only a handful of nonprofit membership libraries in the country. Members enjoy access to an extensive music and art catalog. The library is also involved with many community music and arts education programs. Tickets for the film series are available online.
