Music Education Benefit Concert


Enjoy an evening of music and celebration in support of music education on July 7 when piano prodigy Chase Morrin will entertain patrons at The Museum of Making Music in Carlsbad. Guests will enjoy a special musical presentation by Morrin, a wine and cheese reception, and testimonials from both students and music educators about the importance of lifelong music education.
 
Morrin is a 2011 graduate of San Diego’s Canyon Crest Academy and has gone on to win awards at prestigious competitions for both composition and piano playing including the Monterey Jazz Festival, Reno Jazz Festival, National Foundation for Advancements in the Arts, and many more. He is currently attending Harvard University and the New England Conservatory of Music, where he is pursuing a dual-degree in Science and jazz composition.
 
The Museum of Making Music features galleries centered on instruments throughout history from all over the world. The museum raises funds in support of music education throughout the greater San Diego area.
