If you live in Rancho Santa Fe and have a child who enjoys singing, Kids Korps needs you! They are currently looking for children between nine and eighteen years old to participate in some simple choreographed dance moves for a “Giving Tree” song performance. The performance is for the Kids Korps Fundraiser Gala on Friday, May 6th and Rancho Santa Fe residents are invited to attend. Children need not be Kids Korps members to participate but will receive volunteer hours for their rehearsals and performance time. Those participating should be confident and comfortable performing in front of a large audience. Currently scheduled rehearsals are Saturday, March 26 – 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., Monday, April 4 – 4 to 5 p.m., Monday, April 11 – 4 to 5 p.m., Monday, April 18 – 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., Saturday, April 23 – 4 to 5 p.m., and Monday, May 2 – 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. The performance will be on Friday, May 6th, and children are asked to arrive at the Grand Del Mar by 6 p.m. The performance will take place between 7:15 and 7:45 p.m. All participants will be wearing Kids Korps t-shirts and jeans for the performance.
