The 29th annual Rancho Santa Fe July 4th Parade and Picnic is just around the corner! Make sure to mark your calendar for July 4th at noon and enjoy the sights as residents parade decorated golf carts, horses, and children and the community-created Rancho Santa Fe float in a show of patriotism through the streets of Rancho Santa Fe.
Patriotic crowds cheer, wave flags, and smile in a display of their country and community spirit. The parade forms at 12:30 p.m. and begins at 1 p.m., and a traditional hometown picnic barbeque, sponsored by the Rancho Santa Fe Community Center and Golf Club will follow. All-American burgers, hot dogs and chicken sandwiches with all the fixin’s will be served.
Children looking for some pre-holiday fun can attend Camp Rancho Stars and Stripes Week June 28-July to help decorate the RanchoSanta Fe Community Center’s 4th of July float. Other activities for that camp week include attending a Padre game, the fire station, and baking homemade apple pie. Visit the summer camp guide here for more information.
