Enjoy a glamorous evening while supporting an important cause at the 16th annual Heart of San Diego Gala on February 9.
UC San Diego’ Sulpizio Cardiovascular Center will play host to this popular, black-tie event, set to take place at the opulent Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad. The Center will honor community leader and philanthropist Audrey Geisel.
Guests will enjoy live entertainment and exciting food and drink options in the luxuriously appointed Aviara Ballroom. Both live and silent auctions will take place, as well.
Funds raised at this event will be put toward fellowship support and scientific research focused on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Private support is an important component for UC San Diego’s cardiovascular program, picking up where federal and state funding leaves off. The program has received national attention for its achievements in the field.
