The Rancho Santa Fe Art Guild has some interesting things happening this summer. Before next year, various positions will need to be filled on the Board of Directors and on different committees of the Rancho Santa Fe Art Guild and nominations are being submitted now. Other exciting news is that several art guild members are offering classes near your Rancho Santa Fe home this summer to help you improve your artistic talents. Carol Curtis will offer a workshop on watercolor July 5th through 7th at the Athenaeum Music and Arts Library, in La Jolla, and you can sign up by calling 858.454.5872. Pat Beck will also be teaching a still life painting class on using garden flowers on July 14th and 15th. The class will be held in her studio, near your Rancho Santa Fe home, and will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Proceeds from the class will be donated to the Rancho Santa Fe Art Guild.
