Celtic Celebration With Camarada

Enjoy St. Patrick’s Day with the beautiful music of the Emerald Isle played by local chamber musicians Camarada. This performance on the evening of March 17th is a part of their Gallery series held at Meyer Fine Art, 2400 Kettner Boulevard #104 in Little Italy.  The show will feature Camarada founder and artistic director Beth Ross-Buckley on flute, Fred Benedetti on guitar, and Jon Szanto on percussion.  The evening’s repertoire includes traditional Irish songs like “Banish Misfortune” and “Danny Boy.”

Camarada was formed in 1994 in order to bring chamber music to the public, playing unique music in intimate settings. Their concerts include modern interpretations of classic works as well as newly commissioned projects. The beautiful and personal settings allow for a relationship between musician and audience.

The show runs for 75 minutes without an intermission, from 7:00 PM. to 8:15 PM. A reception featuring Irish fare will precede the program. Come at 6:30 for this literal taste of Ireland before your ears are treated to a taste of beautiful music in a beautiful space. Ticket prices range from $40 - $50 and may be purchased via a link on Camarada’s website. Please call 619-231-3702 for more details.
