The International Rescue Committee in San Diego is hosting its annual fundraising event at the Fairbanks Ranch Clubhouse in Rancho Santa Fe. The event will take place along a beautiful lakeside on Thursday, September 22, 2011 from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. Come and enjoy local and ethnic cuisine and beer. Refugee-owned restaurants are preparing Somali, Iraqi and Vietnamese dishes. There will also be Craft beer from the Cornado Brewing Company and wine. This is a great event to learn about and support a local committee working to help people in your community. Tickets to this event are $50 and must be purchased in advance.
