This Just In

Recently, the Business Editor from the Del Mar Times called to ask my opinion on the Luxury Real Estate Market and how it differs from the Real Estate Market in general. This interview and my comments are featured in the Del Mar Times article dated February 16, 2010. This Just In by Colleen M. Lee, February 11, 2010 Homes are our sanctuary, so when choosing a real estate professional you need to know that the person who is giving you advice is the right fit for you.

A leader in Rancho Santa Fe real estate for more than 20 years, K. Ann Brizolis of Prudential California Realty specializes in buying and selling luxury properties. "People recognize professionalism and want individual attention when providing high-end advice. They have to be comfortable with you and know that you are savvy with their money," says Brizolis. It's an opportune time to buy since interest rates are low. Brizolis adds, "People should be scooping up property and Rancho Santa Fe offers a unique blend. You can have a rural environment but are just a few minutes from the coast. Rancho Santa Fe also has larger properties available for horses, guest houses, and pools." Another key element to choosing an agent should be that the person has a certain skill set in the real estate business. "Often skills like an education in economics and finance are overlooked," says Brizolis, who earned a degree in business administration and marketing.
