LeAnn Rimes is set to perform at the Salk Institute's 12th annual fundraising gala on August 25. “Symphony at Salk: A concert under the stars” will feature the award-winning songstress performing with the San Diego Symphony at the Salk Institute in La Jolla. In addition to the concert, guests can enjoy a pre-concert champagne reception and dinner with wine and hors d'oeuvres. Founded by Dr. Jonas Salk in 1959, the Salk Institute is one of the nation’s leading research facilities focused on life sciences. Salk researchers work on bettering our understanding of diseases like cancer and Alzheimer’s disease.
