Rancho Santa Fe residents will have an opportunity to meet a highly-regarded author and former US Navy SEAL on October 25 as part of the Rancho Santa Fe Library Guild’s Author Talk program.
Brandon Webb will discuss the riveting story about his life so far and about writing his memoir about his time as a US Navy SEAL, The Red Circle. Guests will enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at the reception. A signed copy of The Red Circle is included in the ticket price.
On his website, Webb writes: The Red Circle “shares my personal story of dealing with adversity in a positive and constructive way. It’s written for my own family, who would otherwise not know what I was doing overseas or why when I was gone all the time. The book also passes on valuable leadership lessons learned during my time as a US Navy SEAL and raises awareness regarding the sacrifices made by the Patriotic families and Warriors of US SOCOM.”
Webb has made numerous national television appearances discussing his time as a SEAL and the experiences which led him to become a highly-sought-after sniper trainer. He was interviewed often for his unique insight as a former SEAL in the days following the 2011 raid on the Osama bin Laden compound by SEAL Team 6 that resulted in bin Laden’s death. Webb has lived in the San Diego area for the past 15 years.
