On Tuesday, March 6, San Diego Opera patrons have an exclusive opportunity to attend an evening sitzprobe rehearsal of Don Pasquale. The evening begins at 5:30 pm with an hors d'oeuvres reception and discussion with Ian Campbell, General and Artistic Director of the San Diego Opera. Patrons then sit in on the rehearsal at 7:00 pm.
This is a unique opportunity to eavesdrop on the conversation between Don Pasquale's stars, conductor, and director as they perfect the performance. The conversation with Ian Campbell will also give you an insider's perspective on plans for the Opera's upcoming seasons, as well as the process of finding its stars.
This event is free of charge and opens exclusively to donors at the San Diego Opera's Cognoscente Patron Level ($3,000) and above. It will be held at the San Diego Civic Theatre. Dress is business or "dressy casual"--dressy pants ensembles or dresses for women and suits or sport coats and slacks for men.
