Get into the festive spirit at a glamourous but-whimsical fundraising gala on November 29 when the San Diego Epilepsy Foundation will play host to Gingerbread City.
This exciting gala and gingerbread structure competition will take place at the gorgeous Grand Del Mar in San Diego. Guests can enjoy champagne and wine all evening while bidding in unique silent and live auctions. The main attraction, however, is the gingerbread building competition, the largest of its kind on the west coast.
Leading chefs, artists, and designers from the San Diego area will compete to put together the best gingerbread structures. Categories include traditional gingerbread houses, soaring superstructures, and a variety of creative gingerbread genres sure to amaze.
Famed sportscaster Dick Enberg will emcee the gala, which will also feature gourmet dining, dancing, and live music, all set in the Grand Del Mar’s breathtaking ballroom.
Proceeds from this fundraising event go to support the Epilepsy Foundation’s programming, which works to improve the quality of life for people living with seizure disorders. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available online.
