The Rancho Santa Fe-based San Diego Polo Club and car company Lincoln will host "Cigars & Cars" in celebration of Father's Day, on Sunday, June 19th. This is a great way to enjoy Father's Day near your Rancho Santa Fe home. The gates open at 12:30 p.m. and attendees can also visit an interactive display from Lincoln and even take a test drive in one of their latest models. The first polo match is at 1:00 p.m., and intermission will begin at 2:30 p.m. The Feature Match starts at 3:00 p.m. and the divot stomp will take place at 3:30 p.m. From 4:30 to 7 p.m., live music is scheduled to entertain you, as well. The San Diego Polo Club hosts weekly Sunday Polo starting with opening day on June 12th and is located at 14555 El Camino Real. San Diego polo first began on Coronado Island in 1906. In 1982, Rancho Santa Fe enthusiasts brought polo closer to their Rancho Santa Fe homes and the club doors opened in 1986.
